Description

2/5/2026 - yoshi stop nerfing my greens, also changed overall structure of the build for more legibility, more annotations with some being redone, and moved items around.

Item Build

#Citadel_HeroBuilds_EarlyGame

Left -> Right | If hard lane, buy Boots or Extra Health early

Deadlock Item

I

Balas mata monstruos

If you need to simply push waves as fast as possible, and/or are building into Cultist Sacrifice, this item is INSANE early game value. Additionally, the NPC resist is great throughout the whole game.

Deadlock Item

I

Cartucho extendido

Synergizes with monster rounds to utterly destroy early lane troopers, and lets you poke enemy a bit more.

Deadlock Item

III

Balas Tesla

Great if rushed, gives big (but sometimes inconsistent) damage boost to enemies, significantly accelerates farm speed. This item also gives you the MASSIVE 4.8k soul WPN investment powerspike.

Deadlock Item

I

Botas de velocidad

Great for early game sustain, but if you are buying later, this will significantly help your box routing, and give you lots of speed on Ivy Ultimate due to its 1.5x Sprint Speed Multiplaction feature.

Deadlock Item

II

Cargador titánico

By rushing Titanic Mag, you can easily clear waves effortlessly and not waste time reloading, combined with kudzu.

Lane Extras

Leftmost Items often used more.

Deadlock Item

I

Activo

Rito de curación

Best item to buy in a bad lane. Sprint speed that it gives makes it remain useful even after laning phase for roaming. Great for quickly recovering in lane. Do a box run while riting, dont miss wave.

Deadlock Item

I

Vida adicional

Feel free to sell this item later if short on slots and need damage items. do NOT BE AFRAID to buy this item, as you will feel pretty squishy without it throughout early-mid game.

Deadlock Item

I

Potenciador de tiro a la cabeza

If you are looking to win lane and apply pressure, you can buy this item early, though it will postpone your tesla rush, and have no viable upgrade path later in the game.

#Citadel_HeroBuilds_MidGame

Left -> Right | Gives lotsa movement

Deadlock Item

II

Recarga activa

Gives many useful stats. High firerate for faster Tesla proccing, dps, bullet lifesteal (Ivy starts with small lifesteal values) and movespeed. Alleviates ammo problem.

Deadlock Item

II

Activo

Botas rápidas

This build HEAVILY focuses on utilizing movement speed for survivability, in order to make up for the fact you have minimal greens/HP. This essentially allows you to "Run and Gun" all the time.

Deadlock Item

III

Activo

Aura heroica

Insanely powerful. Sprint speed and movespeed values are INSANE for roaming and fights. Gives resistances for you and your team, and firerate for more damage. ALWAYS HAVE THIS READY BEFORE FIGHTING!!!

Buy only ONE 1.6k ITEM

Deadlock Item

II

Velocidad persistente

Essential for maintaining high m/s values when slowed, and adding a constant amount as well. Biggest reason is it is unconditional movespeed that is active ALL THE TIME, allowing easier sliding.

Buy only ONE 1.6k SHRED

Deadlock Item

II

Destructor de resistencia balística

Powerful shred item. Assists with camp clear as tesla will proc this. Has less shred than weakening HS.

Deadlock Item

II

Disparo debilitante a la cabeza

Does not work on objectives or camps, but has a much higher resist shred than BRS. Good if you plan on fighting more and farming less.

4.8k HP

Buy only ONE

Deadlock Item

III

Resiliencia espiritual

Very good survival item. Lets you live a lot longer after being bursted down by several spirit heroes. Works great if you have lots of sustain items (Like vampiric burst, or siphon bullets)

Deadlock Item

III

Activo

Trance furioso

Very good affordable Defensive, Offensive, and sustainable item, and is now better now that you can wall jump once again while silenced within fury trance effect. [AVOID IF GETTING VAMP BURST]

#Citadel_HeroBuilds_LateGame

Can sell Xtra Health/BVest/Enduring. At §35k+ souls, can sell tesla bullets

Deadlock Item

IV

Cañón de vidrio

If you HAVE to play to carry as an M1, this item is amazing. Flex effecient, but postpones your tempo as you have to save up 6400 souls in the midgame.

Deadlock Item

IV

Tiro de suerte

25.0% More Damage! This is a late game buy because it multiplies ALL OF YOUR EXISTING damage/firerate. Gives ammo too!

Deadlock Item

IV

Lanzahechizos

This item can INSTANTLY Net you +66% firerate. You should buy this when you have AT MINIMUM: 3 Active Items, as using tether and kudzu in combat with active items gives you at minimum 5 stacks (+55%).

Final Active Items

Buy 1-2 of these, until active slots are full. Instant use items are great for spellslinger. Leftmost items will generally be better.

Deadlock Item

IV

Activo

Explosión vampírica

Helps fill in missing firerate lategame, and allows you to comfortably have sold active reload for another item as this item gives you a entire new magazine. Very high lifesteal for burst fights.

Deadlock Item

IV

Activo

Imparable

Good to avoid being curse spammed, or being targeted and constantly disrupted when you are trying to burst people down for key picks in the late game, or for important objectives.

Deadlock Item

IV

Activo

Lente de enfoque

Fantastic for picking out a single enemy combined with your super high burst DPS output, amazing for late game assuming the team does not have too many debuff removers

Deadlock Item

IV

Activo

Coloso

Far better alternative to siphon bullets, however you will often never get to purchase this item as by the time you will want this, all 4 of your important active slots WILL be full.

Deadlock Item

III

Activo

Piel de metal

This item is overpowered. Broken OP counter to raw gun characters/m1's. Only issue is that gun ivy very much likes keeping active slots for offense, so buy carefully.

Deadlock Item

III

Activo

Tributo de sangre

Despite this item losing lots of firerate, it becomes relatively stronger as a debuff resist item, considering that debuff remover/dispel magic has lost its resist. Great VS. Disarm Hex spammers.

Deadlock Item

IV

Activo

Reliquia maldita

THIS ITEM RUINS YOUR DAMAGE, USE IF UTIL IS MANDATORY, OR ENEMY HAS TOO MANY METAL SKINS!

DON'T FORGET to slot in some of the high value 3200 cost Gun Shred items here if you have flex slots to spare! If you can afford more items into your build with empty slots, these are VERY high value buys!

Good @ §30k+

These items often replace other core items, so READ THEIR DESCRIPTIONS!

Deadlock Item

III

Aura del cazador

You can replace BRS / Weakening headshot with this item, giving you a potentially insanely effecient 1v1 shred item (-24% resist). Or, if you have slots, buy this on top of them.

Deadlock Item

III

Punta hueca

You can replace this item with Weakening Headshot, and if you do so, you will hit your maximum weapon damage investment milestone quicker, assuming you buy it BEFORE purchasing Spellslinger.

Deadlock Item

III

Cadencia explosiva

Insanely good raw fire rate stats for a 3.2k item. Slide distance is very useful for camps, on top of fleetfoot. This is a great buy if you are not purchasing fury trance.

Deadlock Item

IV

Tiro debilitante a la cabeza

If you dont want to buy Hunters Aura or Hollow Point for resist shred, you can have more overall utility with this item, and it upgrades from your previous buy: Weakning Headshot.

Deadlock Item

III

Activo

Disipador de magia

Good if a single individual debuff (that cannot be easily reapplied) is causing you massive trouble.

Deadlock Item

IV

Rompehechizos

Good so you dont get obliterated and insta-bursted late game. Debuff resistance is great too. Now has a build path, meaning it is easier to buy this item with proper powerspike timers.

Deadlock Item

IV

Gigante

One of the worst value items in the game, but enduring speed itself has so much value, so this is a potentially good buy in last resort Ultra Late Games.

TESTING THESE ITEMS - MIGHT BE GOOD

message @Highdocker on discord for any questions

Deadlock Item

II

Impulso cinético

Only buy this item if you are confident that you will be ahead in flex slots, and have the ability to take the first walker. If you manage to only have 9 slots after ~20 minutes, avoid this.

Deadlock Item

II

Activo

Disparo dividido

[Be aware, by buying this you will have no more active item slots] Assuming you have 60% accuracy, this item lets you hit 80-90% of your bullets effectively massively increasing your DPS output.

Deadlock Item

IV

Activo

Condensador

This item is no longer a MUST-BUY as its damage output is significantly reduced and its ability is reworked. Use this to pick off people and remove all their movement Opts. in a style similar to Haze

Deadlock Item

II

Robo de vida balístico

Potentially good alternative as a 1.6k green item for building towards your 4.8k HP investment.

Deadlock Item

III

Resiliencia balística

Good Brain-Off counter to raw gun builders/m1 characters. If you have the active slots available, metal skin is often better.

Deadlock Item

IV

Armadura plateada

Anti-Haze/Infernus

Deadlock Item

III

Duración superior

This build entirely relies off of active items / duration-based gun buffs, so purchasing this will allow you to output your burst damage for far longer. Reccomended at §35k+ souls only.

Balance Patch Overview

GLOBAL FIRERATE NERF!! (~10%-20% global reduction from Items, and Abilities) Fury trance and Vampiric burst got hit espescially hard. Most firerate items remain relevant regardless. Bullet Resist Shred items got nerfed VERY HARD. There is now more reason to buy weakening headshot over bullet resist shredder, however these two items now have very different purposes (read their descriptions). Glass cannon now makes you even squisher unfortunately. Tested damage values, and despite lucky shot nerf, the ~25% amp is still justified enough to take right before spellslinger. Ammo gained likely makes up for not reloading faster, assuming SSlinger is delayed. Also, comparitively speaking, with less bullet resist shred sources in the game, Ivy Ultimate T1 Upgrade is more valuable for you and your teammates. Curse is also not very viable on a m1-carry focused build as you get damage penalties, but on the bright side, expect to see MUCH LESS debuff removers/dispel magics, allowing focus lens to return to viability. Keep in mind Resilience items all got buffed.

How does this patch effect Gun Ivy?

Key M1/Gun Carries have been nerfed, dethroning viscous, and a insanely miniscule nerf to gun warden (142 -> 137 DPS). Ivy remains at 120 DPS, and has to rely on her other amazing gun stats, steroids, shreds, movement, and rotational ability to keep afloat. Spirit characters will be a lot stronger now, but spellbreaker is now more feasible to build, spirit resil as well. Debuff reducer now is more impactful and affordable, allowing multiple build paths between unstoppable (anti spirit CC) or spellbreaker (anti spirit burst damage). Global firerate nerfs means other characters will struggle without innate firerate buffs, but ivy continues to have a strong one. She should be relatively stronger compared to other m1 carries, but may struggle with spirit characters considering glass cannon makes you squisher now, and do relatively more damage compared to all gun characters (because of global firerate nerf).
