Description

A spirit/support build with a heavy focus on spamming turrets and providing support to your allies.

Latest Updates:
4-July: ARE WE BACK?? Made some surface-level adjustments to accommodate for new cooldown item and spirit item changes.

Item Build

Monster Rounds first generally for faster wave clear, then either Extra Spirit for your specter or Extra Stamina for better mobility, then buy what you need for the situation.

1) More Regen

Deadlock Item

Deadlock Item

I

Deadlock Item

Deadlock Item

I

Extra Health

Fortitude my beloved

Deadlock Item

Imbue [E]

Mystic Expansion

Having to imbue makes this item very niche, but sniper turrets are pretty neat

Deadlock Item

I

Headshot Booster

Is THIS the secret to keeping Infernus and other pokers off your back?? Need more data!

Deadlock Item

I

Melee Lifesteal

Sometimes ya just gotta brawl it out.

2

Emblem first defensively, Compdown first offensively. Healbane vs high sustain targets, suppressor vs gunners, Mystic Slow preferable for turret/barrage debuff stacking.

2) Turret Prep

Deadlock Item

II

Enchanter's Emblem

Great lane finisher, sell later to make room for something situational

Deadlock Item

II

Mystic Slow

Hold 'em down, hold 'em down

2) Countering

Deadlock Item

II

Healbane

If the enemy team has a lot of sustain (e.g. Abrams, Infernus, Mo & Krill), you'll want this and Inhibitor.

Deadlock Item

II

Debuff Reducer

I just really hate infernus and abrams lol

Deadlock Item

I

Use turrets to establish a supporting fire backline for team fights, or to defend your objectives or siege their objectives. Get Transcendent if you're buying a lot of active items or want more turret spam power, otherwise Healing Tempo will be a strong boon for you, your turrets, your troopers, and your teammates.

3) Turret Core

Deadlock Item

III

Rapid Recharge

Doesn't give cooldown, sadly, but still great combo with Healing Tempo and Boundless Spirit

Deadlock Item

III

Superior Cooldown

Get this first to dispell the imbuing

Deadlock Item

III

Radiant Regeneration

Toss out a turret to benefit from Healing Tempo

3) Core Finishers

Deadlock Item

IV

Imbue [E]

Active

Echo Shard

It's so expensive it's hard to justify buying late game :(

Deadlock Item

IV

Boundless Spirit

Just a Spirit topper now, still good for Specter boosting

Deadlock Item

IV

Lightning Scroll

Since Wall tends to be maxxed last, buying this to put Stun on Barrage is very useful.

Deadlock Item

IV

Healing Tempo

This item is, honestly, overpowered regardless of what you're building.

4)

After your first T4 purchase, figure out what role you need to play for your team and buy from these cats appropriately. I prefer Heroic Aura, Bullet Resilience, and Escalating Exposure myself, for tanky support.

4) Tank Core

Deadlock Item

IV

Juggernaut

This annd Bullet Resilience are all you're gonna need for bullet resist

4) Support Core

Deadlock Item

III

Greater Expansion

Get this to undo the imbuing earlier, very important for specter boosting

Deadlock Item

III

Active

Heroic Aura

Passive applies to troopers, turrets, and ally heroes. Very useful.

Deadlock Item

III

Active

Healing Nova

In case of specter deniers or just to push waves

4) Damage Core

Deadlock Item

II

Spirit Shredder Bullets

Resist debuff instead of spirit amp makes this a great support item

Deadlock Item

II

Mystic Vulnerability

We go hard on spirit damage this game

4) BELOVED

Deadlock Item

III

Fortitude

CHERISH ALWAYS

Counters

A semi-arbitrary list of items to buy if you need to counter a specific hero. Check annotations for specifics.

Deadlock Item

Toxic Bullets

Need more healing reduction

Deadlock Item

Knockdown

Interrupts powerful channelers or flyers

Deadlock Item

Ethereal Shift

Can be used to juke Lash ults, otherwise useful to supercharge your spirit at the start of an ult-heavy teamfight

Deadlock Item

IV

Silencer

Now that the spirit reduction doesn't have a cooldown, this is a great support gun item.

Deadlock Item

IV

Inhibitor

Get this to impede hyper carries

Deadlock Item

A toggle to dramatically reduce debuffs

Deadlock Item
