Description
Build primarily made to lean into maximizing Crackshot damage and usage. I specifically went in a tested what works best to maximize Crackshot's damage. If you wanna hear my thought process, feel free to keep reading. If not, enjoy the build.
The way Crackshot calculates damage is very odd. When landing a Crackshot, it takes the base damage of your bullet, multiplies it by 2 like usual, then adds a flat +100 damage to your shot at the same time. This extra damage scales off of your Spirit Damage stat, but is counted as bullet damage. This creates a lot of weird interactions when it comes to calculating Crackshot's damage in tandem with items.
The general jist is that boosting the Spirit Damage stat will increase Crackshot's damage, but reducing your opponents Spirit Resist with abilities like Soul Shredder Bullets will not boost it. Similarly, effects which rely on abilities doing Spirit Damage (ie. Suppressor) wil not trigger on Crackshots. The inverse is true with Bullet Damage, where increasing your Bullet Damage Stat will not increase the bonus damage from Crackshot, but reducing your opponents Bullet Resist will boost it.
It's still worth investing in Bullet Damage, as Crackshot still takes the base Bullet Damage into account when calculating and you won't always be landing Crackshots, but investing in Spirit Damage will give better immediate boosts and scale better overall. And that was my general mentality when it came to making this build.
