Description
"Goo hits harder than you think, doesn't it?"
The 1st build in the "Concerns of The Deep" series, made for beginners and for fun. They are not aimed to be the most meta builds.
This one is oriented around Puddle Punch (3), melee and your gun. You'll be punching anyone in your way!

Item Build

Buy left to right. If you lower the Bullet Resistance of the enemy, it means you'll deal more Melee Damage to them! If you feel like you'll parry a lot, get Rebuttal. Don't be afraid to get a Lane Extra item if you're struggling. Just sell it later!
Lane Extras
Buy one of those if you struggle in lane, then sell it later. Reactive Barrier if you face a lot of CC, and Monster Rounds if you're struggling to kill Troopers.
Helps you hold your lane and kill Troopers faster. If you run out of slots, sell this first! |Can be sold for a slot|
If the enemy melees a lot, this item will help you punish them. You also get a reduced parry cooldown! |Can be sold for a slot|

Buy left to right. You can sell Mystic Burst for a slot. If you lack slots, just upgrade your current items. Feel free to buy a Survival Item or an Active item to empower yourself in the way you want!
Sustain, survival, fire rate and damage! You can replace it with a better vitality item once you run out of slots. |Sell for: Colossus|
The out of combat regen will help with sustain, while the sprint speed can help you move around! |Upgrade into: Enduring Speed|
To land heavy melees easier and increase heavy melee damage. Now works with Puddle Punch (3)! |Upgrade into: Crushing Fists|
A huge increase in survivability. Since this works with Puddle Punch (3), you'll heal a lot from it, especially when you'll have it maxed!
Some resist shredding, and damage, but only at high health. Thankfully, Lifestrike will keep you topped up!
Reducing their Bullet resist, means more melee damage. Splatter (1) and Goo Ball (4) will trigger this with ease. So don't forget to use those first before Punching!
Survival
If you find yourself dying easily, taking too much damage, or getting CC'd too much, consider one (or more) of those items! They'll help you deal with various threats.
Taking too much SPIRIT damage? Take this. This item will grant you a nice Barrier and out of combat regen.
Parry ANYTHING. This means almost any abilities such as Geist's Ultimate, Shiv's Ultimate, Lash's Ultimate, etc...
Lowers the duration of Infernus' Burn, any form of stuns, silence, immobilize and more. |Upgrade into: Spellbreaker|
Dispel Magic but stronger and for an ally too! Does remove Ultimate-type debuffs (Drifter, Pocket...)

Buy left to right. These items will help you end the match! You can also consider an active to counter any enemy you have difficulties handling. Get more items as you obtain slots! Shadow Weave is Optional.
Actives
Those actives are extremely powerful items to gain the edge against the enemy. Do not buy Return Fire once you have Juggernaut. Recommendation: Warp Stone, Unstoppable
You need to have Line of Sight for the deflect to work. Sell once you get Juggernaut. Very useful against gun-oriented characters like Haze, Drifter, Wraith and Vyper!
You cannot get stunned by parries while this is active! (Damage will still be negated) Consider it if enemies have a lot of CC.
Use it on someone you punch upwards to get them stunned longer. Useful against: Vindicta, Grey Talon, Bebop, Seven, Haze, McGinnis, Lash, Victor, Warden and Vyper.
Debuffs
These items will help you reduce the enemy's resistances, reduce their healing, reduce their damage or even completely disable them. Read annotations!
If you tend to use your gun a lot, this will help deal with tanky enemies such as: Shiv, Abrams, Silver, Mo&Krill, Victor, and more.
If you want to help your team deal more damage, while also reducing the enemy's healing. This works great against Victor!
Incredibly useful if you wish to reduce the enemy's damage and their healing. Works perfectly against Victor.
Useful against: Apollo, Calico, Infernus, Grey Talon, Kelvin, Lash, Mina, Pocket, Vindicta and more.
A decent anti-heal. Useful against Shiv, Geist, Abrams, Mo&Krill and more. DO NOT USE AGAINST VICTOR.
Situational & Counters
These items will help you have a better time against specific enemies or simply allow you to modify your gameplay to something that fits you more. Keep in mind that these items are NOT part of the build. Decay, Silence Wave, Knockdown and Curse are powerful actives that can be bought to counter specific heroes.
Use this to do some Heavy Melee Cancels! After starting a heavy melee, activate Fleetfoot to cancel it! This will allow you to trick your opponent.
Use it with your Right Click to deal a nice burst of damage! You can Right Click after landing Heavy Melee to make sure it hits!
You'll trigger this with Splatter (1) and Spirit Strike/Snatch. Useful against anyone. This can be used against Victor.
Health but also Stamina upon use. Only take if you tend to frontline a lot and facing ability-spamming enemies.
Survival, sustain, cooldown reduction and damage! Keep as long as possible, then replace with better resistance.
Taking too much GUN damage, too quickly? Take this. It'll give you a nice Barrier and out of combat regen.
You'll take a lot of Spirit Damage late game, so this will proc a lot, granting you a lot more charges of Puddle Punch (3)!
Makes laning more difficult for your enemies. You'll also deal more damage to them. Useful against: Haze, Wraith, Drifter, Infernus, Mina, and more.
REMEMBER: Punch first before using this to trigger Spirit Snatch when you have it, and lower the enemy's resistance! |Upgrade into: Arctic Blast|
