Barriers are much worse now after the recent patch. This build is focuses on doing decent burst dmg before transitioning into crazy Affliction DPS and reach.
Your core abilities Arcane Surge, Diviners, Shadow Weave, and Improved Reach will make landing big ults easy.
Landing a 3+ man ult *SHOULD* guarantee a fight win. You need to comm your engages with this build.
Remember that you can still barrage enemies AFTER Affliction to do considerable DOT damage.
