My more spirit-focused take on Fathom. It's all about utilising your ultimate to lock down and deal massive burst damage before the enemies can escape.
Buy healing rite earlier if you need it, otherwise hold off until the end of the items, or skip straight to nova
Additional damage to targets while they're locked down
Look to ambush players using the combination of Majestic Leap and Lurker's Ambush (4) and gun them down very quickly with the long immobilisation time. The combo is Breach (2) + Majestic Leap + Lurker's Ambush (4) + Cold Front for the most optimal damage.
Absolutely core
Good stats on this + the healing is sort of nice and more tailored for combat
Pick up mystic reverb OR superior CD, whichever one you feel would benefit you the most.
Extra damage if necessary + triggers during immobilisation if the spit is fully charged.
More utility if necessary
If there's lots of slows preventing you from moving around a lot, pick this up
Anti heal if required
Some bullet resist + extra damage from weapon
Haze, and while we're on hero labs, Viper
Infernus/Pocket/Abrams
Most important for pocket, but counters other things too like bebop bombs, warden cages, seven stuns etc
