Trapper may not look like a good melee hero, but his 3 gives you a ton of shields with huge AOE damage. Get melee charge and get in there!
Recommended to throw your 1, self cast 3 and warp stone on top of them. Heck, you can throw spiders during the fight to cause more chaos!
The main build issue is lack of regen. Fortitude covers this as it lets you regen between fights. Saving for leech covers you for the late game, until then you need to pick your engagements.
Because the 3 is a spirit shield, make sure to get bullet armor if you're against enemies using thier guns.
