You want to poke until you get tier 2 barrel and extra charge then look for committed trades. I typically try to switch into Mo and Seven on the enemy team for the big head or with a strong laner like Yamato to stomp lane.

Learn to air strafe off holiday pads for 5 more meters every time you use one (I have a short on how). Also use your 2 to extend the duration of your lasso and if you instantly dash after hitting a pad you can stop it from knocking you up.
