Yamato uses precise strikes to decimate her rivals. However, such damaging attacks often will leave her exposed, so she needs to make every shot count.

My own flavour of Ronald's build, with my own insights.
With the way the game works now, your best interest is
to have many spirit items but also spend some
money on vitality items to get a big HP pool,
which this build aims to focus on.
I'm on the official Discord, if you have any questions
I
Extra Regen
Sometimes I buy sprint boots instead for boxes
I
Monster Rounds
Structures take less spirit damage, so you need your gun to do damage to them. Sold later when in need of slots.
I
Mystic Burst
Good early burst, builds into tankbuster. Sell if short on slots
I
Extra Stamina
Pick even earlier if you are playing against Warden
II
Active
Cold Front
Great for damage and the slow is good. Also gives 10% resist. You can sell this for late game options
Don't get more than 1
I
Restorative Shot
Trustworthy and consistent healing
I
Active
Healing Rite
Good for running moving around the map and gets good healing.
I
Melee Lifesteal
Early survivability and good healing if you can fit in punches
For specific situations
I
Spirit Strike
Good for adding pressure in lane if you can fit in some punches. Buy somewhat early
I
Rebuttal
If you're good at parries pick it on punchy lanes
I
Sprint Boots
Good for moving quicker, doing boxes and healing while doing so
2 flex
II
Kinetic Dash
Good for pushing objectives and taking camps. You can sell this for late game options
II
Active
Return Fire
Prevalent gun teams mean you will likely need this
III
Torment Pulse
Small ticks of damage that keep adding up
II
Imbue
Compress Cooldown
Imbue 3 for more healing, imbue 4 if a fight is close and your ult is on CD
III
Superior Cooldown
Reduces cooldowns significantly, both of skills and items like TP.
IV
Imbue
Mystic Reverb
Imbue on 1. Gives liefsteal as well as giving damage and slow in a radius, that's pretty good
III
Spirit Snatch
Good if you can get in punches consistantly, otherwise pick Silence Wave
IV
Active
Refresher
Longer ult presence, good for big carry gameplay. The combo is Slash, Ult, Slash, Refresh, Slash, Ult, Slash!
III
Tankbuster
You get this when enemies start to have 2.5~3k HP
II
Healing Booster
If you think you need more healing
II
Healbane
Great buy against Shiv and heroes with lots of healing
III
Counterspell
Parry fucking EVERYTHING. OP AS HELL. Get good with this because you will get a lot of use. If you feel you're not good enough for it, buy one of the T3 alternatives
II
Debuff Reducer
When you're getting tons of debuffs from the enemy team
III
Active
Debuff Remover
Compulsory late game for cleansing statuses out of ult, also gives you flat HP
III
Active
Decay
cheap spirit burn for one person + flat HP
II
Active
Spirit Sap
Good for your spirit. If you get lots of debuffs and enemy isnt too spirit resist heavy, consider debuff remover instead
III
Active
Silence Wave
Silencing and reducing spirit resist and power, very strong
Read descriptions
IV
Spirit Burn
Remove their healing and do more damage.
IV
Juggernaut
Against gun heavy enemies. This basically reduces their DPS by 40%.
IV
Crippling Headshot
Pick against enemies with insane ammounts of resists
IV
Diviner's Kevlar
For extra ult survivability
IV
Witchmail
Pick against teams with lots of quick spirit damage so your cooldowns just are always up.
IV
Spellbreaker
If the enemy has a big spirit burst hero, you should prio this before other T4s or as your 3rd T4.
III
Fortitude
Keeps you tanky and gives you good map presence.
II
Active
Restorative Locket
Spirit scaling and the +2 stamina on cast are great for popping after ult, but its range is lacking nowadays.
II
Enduring Speed
One of the few items giving move speed, may be better than stamina atp.
