Magician has a unique ability to adapt his build to whatever the team/game may require. This guide will be a bolt focused build, with several options and alternatives to dip into rabbit/ult stealing late game
Magician in lane relies heavily on getting to 2nd bolt upgrade before taking control of the bridge and being incredibly oppressive, rushing into spirit is less valuable until then
Choose between this and High Velo depending on matchup, Sinclair wants to push the enemy under tower. Monster rounds is preferred if the lane will be a farming lane, as you can upgrade to Sacrifilater
Between this and Monster, not both
You don't always need the healing/barriers required from this category if you're winning the lane
This item's spirit scaling is ridiculous and can be incredibly good against character's that CC you easily
If the lane is slow and more of a farming lane, pick this up before 8 minutes. T3 camps spawn at 8, this should be used immediately, don't buy after 9 min
Solid Item if you can't hold til a powerspike in a rough lane
Building into Bolt as laning phase ends, once you hit your T3 bolt upgrade, you start chunking and can easily one shot squishies
Huge powerspike, once you get this and T3 bolt youre incredibly strong for the stage of the game
Insanely good repositioning/chase item, allows you to join fights once you get your powerspike, pushing the advantage ASAP
Imbue on 2
This upgrade is amazing for bolts, since Rapid lost its CDR, this is your way of getting it back. Buy ASAP if getting Sacrifice
If you plan on going Bolt and getting Spirit Burn, this is skippable, otherwise its necessary.
Amazing item for Sinclair, let's you escape from bad situations no matter the build path. Incredibly recommended for Ult stealing build especially.
One of my favorite paths when the enemy ults are good, build various different items depending on the types of Ults you wanna steal (Dynamo, Warden, Seven, etc.)
Huge for Warden, Seven ult, Dynamo ult if you're being targeted. Sinclair's ult is very low CD, meaning this will always proc.
Necessary if their CC stops your ult, allows you to turn a Dynamo team ult into a complete wipe.
Great if it's late and 4 extra seconds would win a fight (Dynamo ult especially)
Testing, can be nuts with Warden/Seven.
Great item, especially good if you need an extra escape vs sticky characters like Lash/Bebop/Paradox. Enables many ults
My usual go to if the enemy team ults aren't worth building around, Echo Shard is insanely strong, especially with max Rabbit, and it alone can easily win fights for your team.
Honestly, probably the best 6k for Sinclair in the late game
This combined with Rabbit can end the game if well-timed, its expensive and takes up two very contested active slots, but its worth it.
Slot Filler, not necessary if you're out of slots

Build Path for late game bolts, highly dependent on team comp. If your team is full of spirit dmg, the other build paths are highly recommended. This build path will fall off later.
Allows you to farm camps incredibly quick, two bolts will proc this after about a second of air time.
Great upgrade, cheap and healing is good
This item is a lot worse, but if you're going for bolt you will most likely need it to avoid downtime
This or Spirit Burn, not both. Before buying check enemy for Debuff Remover.
Huge Dmg and Survivability buff
Big damage and attack speed steroid, would probably not buy this unless the game is just a complete stomp, but its very fun.
