Description

Vindicta's favorite activity in the summers is Grilling :3
A silly build around Stake being silly. Range stacking,
mobility, and high regen keep you around the map.
Works in E6 lobbies, annoys streamers, and is overall a
blast to play.
Fight early with T2 crow and Decay to stack your Trophy Collector.
Tip: you can use massive range stakes to hang people from buildings/walls. Abuse this if you can.

Item Build
Good Morning, NYC

Early regeneration items to stay in lane with mobility and spirit items for snipe. We want Trophy Collector early; we are the only character who can abuse it properly. On top of that, Decay is absurdly powerful early and this continues for the whole game.

item
Extra Regen
800

Lets you stay in harass heavy lanes, ie Grey Talon nonsense.

item
Monster Rounds
800

The main worry about lane is losing it before T2 crow. This helps you push things out and apply more pressure.

item
Extra Spirit
800

Useful for crow, snipe, and decay damage.

item
Extra Charge
800

Amps up snipe just a bit and gives us a charge. If you're desperate for slots later, you can sell this; we don't get CDR.

item
Sprint Boots
800

Early regen and move speed; you can gank now with the soul changes.

item
Trophy Collector
4000

Absolutely absurd for grilling. Passive income, health, ability range, and sprint speed is absurd. This tackles several problems at once for us. You can get assists just by being nearby a kill.

item
Active
Decay
3200

Absolutely absurd, do not skip this item ever. Since it's damage scales, it hits like a truck; this is often your first or second highest damage. Also, helps you farm assists.

Grilling Courses

Pick one of Enduring or Reactive. You'll always want Healbane; when is up to you.

item
Healbane
1600

This gives base spirit and you can easily spread it. This is amazing early.

item
Enduring Speed
1600

Run around the map to get as many kills as you can.

item
Reactive Barrier
1600

The spirit scaling on this means that the barriers carpet lost are basically replaced. Keeps you alive for a long, long time.

item
Spirit Shielding
1600

Spirit is usually what you get bursted by. Getting it earlier is better.

Firing up the Grill

We need a few things; the ability to be anywhere on the map, a way to escape being caught, and the grill itself. Carpet solves the first two; you can fly anywhere around the map, escape after being grabbed, and it has amazing stats.

item
Active
Magic Carpet
6400

Carpet before Alch Fire is intentional. This lets you stack Trophy Collector easier, has amazing stats, and gives good mobility.

item
Active
Alchemical Fire
3200

The barbeque itself. Max damage scales with spirit, and the stats tether likes scale alch fire too.

item
Mystic Expansion
800

Makes tether a lot better until echo. We don't mind sitting on this; Alchemical Fire has plenty of range.

item
Active
Echo Shard
6400

Imbue Tether. Tether, alch fire, echo, crow, tether, prepare to snipe or hide.

Grilling! :333

Your grill is now online; now, it's time for an upgrade. We're going from charcoal to propane to thoroughly cook our enemies. Spirit Burn can replace Healbane, so you can sell it for slots.

item
Spirit Burn
6400

This is significantly better than Vortex Web. Same range, but significantly amps up your combo's damage.

item
Greater Expansion
4000

Absolutely insane, highest prio tether upgrade.

item
Duration Extender
1600

Excellent for Stake, and Alchemical Fire lasts long enough anyways.

$4000 Propane Grill

The last pieces to grill well. Whatever order you want, really. These are general upgrades you should always have.

item
Superior Cooldown
4800

More of everything. Helps with Echo Shard's obscene cooldown.

item
Superior Duration
4800

Self explanatory really.

item
Rapid Recharge
4000

Absolutely fantastic item. Spirit for charged abilities really helps out snipe.

Sundown

These are the turbo late items. By this point, you'll have a choice; Vortex Web and Divine Barrier are both fantastic, but you have to pick a child to execute to use them; Magic Carpet, or Decay. I'm sorry.

item
Active
Vortex Web
8000

This has different throw behavior than Stake, but since you either throw this first or last you can get used to it. It's range is the same as Stake's.

item
Active
Divine Barrier
8000

This is good if your teammates are struggling against debuffs/pocket. You're in a good spot to watch the battlefield and this gives ability range.

item
Escalating Exposure
8000

Kind of the only way to add damage at this point. Good spirit resist too.

item
Veil Walker
3200

If you choose to keep carpet, this lets you fly incredibly fast. If you decide to sell it, this helps you as an escape item.

A Sturdy Apron

This build is slot heavy; you'll have very little space for greens, and can be melted if caught off guard. If you're in extreme late game, then here's the greens of choice to stay alive.

item
Debuff Reducer
1600

We can't really slot Debuff Remover, but this helps versus the few CCs you might be hit by.

item
Spirit Resilience
3200

General anti spirit item, if you're taking high amounts of low damage

item
Spellbreaker
6400

Break in case of Talon; you're 2-3 arrowable, so this delays that by a bit.

item
Juggernaut
8000

If you really like Enduring Speed and are dying to gun, this will help out.

item
Cheat Death
6400

This really won't save you unless you have help. I wouldn't get this unless I'm struggling against a single hungry target with Phantom Strike
