New patch changed a lot for this hero. Decay is dead and Vexing Bolt FINALLY scales with range now.

Lane
Buy order of 800s changes based on how lane is going. rushing aoe / t3 bolt lets us farm extremely fast as bolt hits entire camps now.
lets you kill troopers faster and keep wave pushed into enemy so you can play on the bridge and ruin their lives.
Nerfed but the ability range bonus is so nice and fire rate is good since we max assistant after bolt, try to get this right around when the T3s spawn. NEVER USE THIS ON ANYTHING BUT A T3 NEUTRAL
Now that bolts scale from aoe they are way more reliable as well as an amazing farming tool so we want this earlier than prior patch. Once I get this I start killing every t3 camp on the map.

Early situationals to consider every game
Procs off everything you do and makes haze / infernus / mirage / wraith very sad
Not as busted as it used to be but alongside healbane is 61% antiheal on anyone you want and a lot of spirit power.
Scales with spirit power now and easily hits 600+ barrier on a low cd. If against multiple heroes that have to proc it to fight you always buy it.
If antiheal is needed for their comp always buy this
Probably getting nerfed soon, really busted vs catch heroes like holliday / mo / bebop / paradox
Always a solid item, good if you are playing more around ult steals

The best mobility item on this hero and its not close. Once you have this you can control waves and farm jungle while still joining every fight on the map from a height position.
Amazing for bolt / rabbit / actives and 90% of the ults you steal.
Massive raw dmg increase to everything you do.
THIEF WIZARD
Go this path if they have insane ultimates for you to play around
Just a solid item all the time when stealing ults every fight
Good if ur stealing warden / seven ult specifically every fight
can throw on either your beefiest gorilla or yourself if you're stealing warden / yamato ults. Funny with carpet too
Not as good as it used to be with decay stacking it but scourge / spirit burn stack this well and its extremely good with seven ult
CONTROL WIZARD
Go this path if they don't have seven or warden, double rabbit is always good at this point of the game
Extremely good item with how much ability range we build
Other situationals
Usually buy this at some point in most lanes for me or my lane partner but if you are completely dominating you can skip it
Rarely ever buy this but its good vs silences and stake build vindictas
Best anti gun hero item on this hero and often necessary to use seven and warden ults properly, we get a good amount of duration from our items so this pulls extra weight.
If you're stealing warden / seven / dynamo ults and really need them to full channel
Good against pocket / wraith to save teammates, gives a big ability range bonus too
Good if Vindicta is owning your team
Usually hits their whole team with all the aoe we get, I only get this really late game if they have a ton of healing
