Supercarry ivy gun build. Play safe early, farm and roam mid game, and become unstoppable late game. This versatile build provides ridiculously strong carry potential.

Essentially reworked from a "glass cannon build" to a movement speed build
since 3/18/25
Valid since the 2/25/25 Map Rework Update.
Updated 4/20/25, NEW:
(Massively updated annotations and
added many more tips and stats.)
Left ---> Right
Needed for mild sustain + minion secures + farming early-mid game
Great defensive + offensive stats, good to rush. Buy long range before/after active reload if you need more bullet shield for more stat uptime.
Recharge rate amazing with 4 pre-existing stamina, super slimy in lane with 5 total stamina.
Required for any chance of securing minion kills consistently + to keep pressure up in lane
ESSENTIAL to cover for low base health, and fortitude build path
helps push lanes and camp clearing, get by the time tier 2 camps spawn (6:00) [You can SELL this item first when low on spirit slots]
Powerful. Heals you fast, and can be used mid game for extra sprint speed.
Great for keeping ground in lane, and additional ammo is super helpful. [+4 AMMO]
Buy mid-late
Left ---> Right
helps with farming, and improves range of all major abilities for super low cost.
Greatly alleviates ivy's poor ammo problem, and allows for near-constant dps with active reload ability.
sustain + build path into enduring speed
[ESSENTIAL ITEM] - When you buy this item, you can start to take fights and farm super fast. [Can sell Basic Mag]
Left ---> Right
Allows for fast camp clearing (reaches 9.3m/s slide threshold) works GREAT with enduring speed, not to mention crazy healh for survivability
[ESSENTIAL ITEM] - Movespeed is broken on Ivy, and with enough movespeed you can slide without needing sprint. Slow resistance is essential
[PLACE ON 2] - Combined with active reload, you essentially have 3 clips with bonus fire rate, solving the ammo problem
Extra movespeed is essential, and active allows for near instakills on set targets. Damage and ammo is great too. [Can sell Monster Rounds]
Buy mid-late
Left ---> Right
Longer Stone Form stun, Longer Tether, Longer lasting kudzus and Ult Silence, and amazing stats. Buffs upcoming gun item durations.
Huge powerspike for ivy, synergizes with your (14 pre-existing movespeed) and provides huge dps boost.
Final CORE item for this dps build. Can shred people in a second or less once you get this item. [If 0 flex slots, sell active reload/long range]
Debuff Reducer/Remover strong rn
Typically only buy this if the enemy team is has significant amounts of bullet damage, so you have room to buy spirit resist as well.
Super overlooked, reduces SO MANY EFFECTS AND STUNS, gives ~300 heal, and good stats.
Good mid game 4th/5th health item.
Good into Mirage, Wraith, Haze, etc. and provides dps boost with bullet resist shred.
Good into Shiv, Abrams, Kelvin, Yamato, works as a SINGLE TARGET big antiheal.
Only get if enemy team is mostly bullet damage, as escalating resistance provides more value. If short on slots, get this.
(Left side items are generally more preferred, right side less so)
All abilities come back faster, great in general to keep up with late game tempo.
[PLACE ON 2] Gives even more movespeed, significant scaling for tether, and useful firerate for damage.
After lucky shot, get this item and begin to build tank. You already have insane dps, so build to become unkillable.
Very valuable late game item, as it helps significantly in team fights, while providing extra damage and survivability
Makes Ivy almost immortal. Pairs EXTREMELY well with siphon bullets.
Super powerful item. Excels in gun-heavy enemy team comps, and when you already have lots of health and sustain.
Great for ability/spirit heavy comps, especially ones with HUGE impact ultimates.
[PLACE ON 2] Makes tether last almost as long as any fight + silence. Synergizes with siphon bullets, silencer 6k item, practically all items.
Only get if enemy team is mostly bullet damage, as escalating resistance provides more value. If short on slots, get this.
Can be replaced with active reload, or you can use both for increased early game impact. Based on preference
Can skip active reload for this, Reccomended to buy after fortitude if so.
Still testing these items, ignore for a consistent build.
If you are new to sliding ivy builds, buying titanic after intensifying is a good way to get used to ivy's low ammo problem. Drop the item once you feel comfortable sliding.
Suitable mid-late game antiheal item, be warned, does not scale well as this build lacks spirit.
Potentially good early-mid game buy if you have ample flex slots.
Team lacking resist shredders? Enemy team clocking in at 60+ bullet resist? Get this. (preferably after 25-31k souls)
Works well with withering whip. With that, you get -23% bullet resist on the enemy. (-38% with this + withering whip + T1 Air Drop Ultimate)
Pairs well with combat barrier, and provides extra damage to poke if you really need it early game.
Good for ability spam lanes. Reccomended to be rushed over combat barrier, though significantly weaker since the 35m range nerf.
This build is aimed towards being a late game carry at 19-20k souls. By that time, your gun damage growth is maximized, and you will have insane gun dps, super speed, infinite ammo with 3 reloads and insta-sliding. Focus on playing to survive and securing souls early game: IVY IS THE WEAKEST LANER. Only play aggressive in lane if your partner has a suitably strong character (ex: Abrams or Mo and Krill) or if the enemy lane has weak laners (Haze with Dynamo).
The only weakness with this build is how frail you are mid game. This build is more frail than other builds (such as wanders) as health items are prioritized super late game. Because of this, despite being able to almost instantly kill anyone, you must always be aware of incoming cc and interupts (Mo and Krill ult / Paradox Carbine, Lash ground pound) anything that sets you up to be chain stunned and obliterated. You can get away with 1v1 picks across the map IF YOU ARE POSITIVE most enemies arent missing from map. Otherwise, try and play behind at least one teammate.
This build is based on the mechanic of being able to instantly initiate a slide once you have 9.3m/s (Fortitude Buy). You can begin to slide super comfortably and more efficiently at 12m/s (Fortitude + Enduring Speed + T2 Tether Upgrade). You want to slide as much as possible, despite having QSR or Active Reload as you want as much damage uptime as humanly possible.
Play towards your 19750-20500 soul powerspike. Ivy's gun damage growth scales insanely fast, and stops at 19k souls. VAMPIRIC BURST is your powerspike, and assuming you have bought every item before it including healing rite OR resto locket, you will be at the soul count of 19750-20500, where you will deal the most damage.
Vampiric Burst/Lucky Shot are your powerspikes. Typically, in 75% of games, you want to go vampiric burst. It provides health, significant sustain, and massive damage. In rare cases where your team is doing poorly, and lacks a damage carry while desperately needing one NOW, you can rush lucky shot instead of vamp burst. Also, at the beggining of the game, upgrading kudzu to tier one while it is still on cooldown will instantly refresh it.
Why Quicksilver Reload on tether (2) instead of kudzu bomb (1) ? Intensifying magazine instantly loses damage when you take your kudzu out. Tether is instant, and when you get surge of power, you dont want to be using multiple abilities to proc your items. If you really want, getting QSR on kudzu is still very good, it is just up to preference.
Have trouble hitting your ultimate? Right before you drop bomb, make sure you are close to the ground to lower the amount of time needed for the bomb to impact the ground. Try to aim the bomb semi-predictively, where you think the enemy will be in 0.5-1 second, as the bomb AOE grows outwards, instead of being a instant explosion. This will knock them up, allowing you to throw a kudzu, into stone form, and then beaming them with your gun while they have lowered bullet resist, and are significantly slowed.
[Base] 7.3m/s [T2 Tether] >>> 9.3m/s [fortitude] >>> 11m/s [enduring] >>> 12m/s [vampiric] >>> 14m/s [BurstFire] >>> 16m/s [SurgeOP] >>> 18m/s [Frenzy <50%hp] >>> 20m/s
[Base] -0% [BulletRS] >>> -12% [Withering Whip] >>> -23% [T1 Airdrop] >>> -38% [Crippling Headshot] >>> -45%
