This build got me to Eternus 6 on the new patch. I dropped from E6->E3 after the patch learning items, now I'm back in E6.
Fully annotated but some are memes.
Item Build
Lane
Component for headhunter and a source of much needed burst and poke in lane.
Good for trades and fights, not so good for healing up in a poke lane. Buy Extra Regen if you have to.
This item is too broken to not rush during lane, try to pick it up at 4000-4800 souls, second or third item.
Less good now but still good and necessary for Spirit Snatch which is broken.
Builds into Crushing Fists and adds a lot of damage to your combo

I am seeing great results with this item. It greatly improves your burst in a way I've been missing.
This item is incredibly broken and basically the only spirit item you need for siphon life to do respectable damage
This makes heavy melee faster than walking and is also a huge powerspike for fighting. Can apply stacks to objectives for resist shred and to stun them.
This heals me for so much every game I'm not kidding its really good.

Buy this at 2 minutes in lane if you have a strong duo to funnel. Like a Warden. Go do boxes for a few waves. ONLY DO THIS IF YOU KNOW HOW TO BOX MAX!!!!
Items a Gorilla Might Need
If you find you can reliably get 1v1s in your game this item is very strong.
This item is probably the best anti-heal you can buy on this build.
Against slows or as a mid-late buy because this item is good.
Armor.
Buy if you really need stamina for some reason or like to go fast.
Pick up this item if you're rich and need to explode people. Especially useful against fliers.

An HMC which is notable for parry baiting in this build, also a LOT of stats.
Because Abrams only has 3 abilities, and if your ult isn't on cooldown, this will only proc on your 1 or 2 during fights. Which is broken.
Buy this when you're very rich, it's lategame, and you bought everything else already.

Become Ungovernable
You will want an amount of this.
Careful usage of this item is CRUCIAL, you have to constantly be toggling it in fights to maximize it. It makes parries do nothing to you. Remember to disable before trying to heal, like resto locket.
This item is mid but it has debuff resist.
Debuff resist for parries and general debuffs like decay and whatnot.

Very good against Shiv, Wraith, Lash, delayed CC like Warden and Seven. Just a good item.
Abrams: Ape Mode
With the new item system, filling out slots is WAY less important than how much money you spend in each category. Due to this, don't be afraid to buy Headhunter early in lane, and also don't be afraid to pick up your powerspikes before filling your slots. I will frequently just have 5 items for a while and it's fine.
Max your ult sooner if you need to contest mid boss in your game, it's alright to not max charge. Debuff Remover+Resto Locket is like a 1.3k heal it's very dumb. Build is not strictly ordered.
