This is a melee bruiser build. Make sure to pick up Situational items.

Patch 2025-06-17 is really rough on this. Spirit Calico Assassin is best at the moment.
Should still work though, you're just less tankier and your slash does less damage.

Item Build
Early Game
Great healing in lane from punching minions. And we upgrade this into Lifestrike. Procs on your 2 as well!
A bunch of extra damage on our 2 and punches. We upgrade this to Spirit Snatch.
Extra health is great in lane and we upgrade this to Fortitude later.
Movement! We upgrade this into Kinetic Dash. You can replace this with Sprint Boots if you are rotating with cat form heavily.
Melee damage is really fun. We upgrade this into Crushing Fists.
Adds to your burst damage, and the slow is great. We also can upgrade this into Arctic Blast.
Lane Situationals
Great if enemies are pushing to your tower.
Great if you need constant healing. You can upgrade this into Healing Booster and then Healing Tempo.
Great for healing if you get really low in lane. Sprint speed is also nice for rotating.
Must buy if you are boxmaxxing with your cat form or rotating in cat form a lot.
Incredible against Viscous in lane since it works against Viscous Puddle Punches. Also a very good item against people building melee (usually Abrams).
Quality of Life for your 2 if you struggle to hit it.
After Lane
If you lack slots, upgrade items.
Amazing for ammo since it gives a flat amount rather than a percentage. Super good for pushing objectives. If you are boxmaxxing go Enduring Speed instead.
Great damage over the course of a game/fight. And makes you a little tankier.
The move speed is great for rotating, the heal lets you stay on the map longer, and the weapon damage is really nice.
Increases yours and your teams damage. Upgrades to Crippling Headshot which is great in the late game. You could build Berserker here instead if you prefer.
You could replace this with Resto Locket potentially, or buy both. Just a great item, reduces the stun from being parried. You can build this into Debuff Remover vs certain characters.
Mid Game
Get as needed.
Big powerspike. If you aren't having success with melee you could skip this and go into more of a spirit build.
Tons of healing from your 2 and melees. Keeps you alive in fights.
Resist shred is always great. Makes you very strong in 1v1s. You could get Berserker here instead or just skip for AB/Scourge.
Spirit resist and power steal is amazing. Plus even more melee damage and it procs on your 2.
Situational
Pick and choose depending on what you need.
Great against almost everything in the game. Especially Lash.
Must buy against Seven, Infernus, Mirage, and a couple others.
If you are boxmaxxing with cat form then buy this. The slow resist is also good if that is being an issue.
Really good at the moment. Scales super well. And gives stamina.
Nice in some lanes such as against Bebop.
Anti-heal against tanky people.
Cooldown reduction is really rare so this is a great item since it gives you some.
Great at stopping gun carries. Easy to proc and can go on many people.
Amazing if you are getting destroyed by a gun carry.
Good against Lash, Pocket, and movement focused people.
Incredible item for damage and healing reduction. Great item for anti-heal and stopping tanks like Abrams.
Often a must buy against flying characters like Vindicta and Grey Talon. Also used for knocking Seven out of his ultimate.
Very strong at the moment, silence is very good against many characters and it reduces their resist.
Armour
If you need anti-bullet.
If you need anti-spirit.
Usual Late Game
Pick and choose depending on game state. If you don't know what to get, get Scourge or AB.
Really great item, practically a guarenteed kill in the late game if your team is with you. The combo with it is 2, Arctic Blast, light punch, 1, 4. Also great for clearing waves quickly in cat form.
Really good. Makes you really tanky and can do a lot of damage if you get into the middle of their team. You can rush earlier if you feel it would be good or have the money.
One of the best damage items in the game because of the shred. The anti-heal is also amazing.
Great hybrid item for Calico. You can build this earlier sometimes.
Amazing against gun carries.
Incredible against Lash, Grey Talon, and any other spirit burst characters.
Amazing for shutting down fliers and gun carries. And for getting on top of the people you need to target in team fights.
Gives you some much needed damage in the late game with your ult and gloom bombs. Great if you are trying to oneshot their carries.
Optional Late Items
You can get some of these earlier as counter buys.
Can be good for shutting down ability reliant characters.
Good survivability against spirit.
For not dying to CC and Dynamo ult.
Extra resists and health is great.
Very situational. Only get against lots of incremental spirit damage (McGinnis turrets, Infernus, Warden Ult). Still testing this.
Still testing and I'm not sure if it's better than Juggernaut, but it seems good.
Can remove ult debuffs such as Pocket ult. Prioritise casting it on other people though since half the CD gets refunded.
Good healing + movement.
Quite good healing and move speed. Adds up to a lot in longer fights since Torment Pulse and Scourge easily procs it. Still testing.
Cooldown reduction is really useful. If you are moving more into a spirit build later on I would get this if possible.
If you need to screw over one enemy in particular.
Great on Calico, helps you live much longer. The cooldown for it is super short.

Random things I am testing.
Has good stats.
The weapon damage and slow is nice but the extra weapon damage does not work with your 2 I think.
I think this is good, but there are just items that I consider more worth it to purchase beforehand.
Really good early. I would probably build this before Cold Front and skip Weakening Headshot later.
This is a bad item. Do not build it. It is noob bait. It is worth nothing when you buy it, meaning you just spent 3k souls for no power increase and killed your tempo.
I think this might be nice against gun carries sometimes. Still testing though.
