Description
Customize your loadout, upgrade Vyper's gun to a M134 Minigun and become the messiest bisexual in the Cursed Apple! Starts off squishy, but quickly becomes a self-sustaining and hero killing monster by mastering the Skill 1 -> Gun Combo!
Each Item and category are fully annotated to help new players pick up Vyper!
Item Build
Laning
L -> R | Weak at first, you must have faith in The Don™
Prefered over Monster Rounds for its universal damage increase and upgrade into Point Blank. Don't charge in wildly for the bonus damage yet because Vyper won't have reliable sustain for a while.
If we want our pew pew to obliterate enemies in the blink of an eye, we gotta start by cranking up the Rate of Fire (ROF).
THE item for this build. Starts off fairly weak but with items we'll be buying soon you'll be firing your gun ALL the time for an absurd damage boost.
Essential for Vyper, lets you reload instantly after using your Skill 1: Dagger. Always use Dagger after shooting a full magazine to reload, it charges back incredibly fast!

The Rattler becomes a large-capacity LMG
Choose either Mag Capacity or Rate-of-Fire. Upgrading Mag Capacity will be easier for new Deadlock or Vyper players. Upgrading Rate-of-Fire, however, has an increased skill ceiling and better overall DPS. Try Slithering to achieve infinite ammo as much as possible!

Mid Game Defense
Sell Sustain first then choose up to two, depending on matchups and damage types used. Can be bought at any time
Early bullet resist with a good bonus for staying above 65% health. Can skip straight to bullet resilience, but buy and then sell this as needed.
While the ability doesn't suit our build, matchups with heavy spirit damage may force you to use this. Can skip straight to spirit resilience, but buy and then sell this as needed.
If you're getting shot a lot or your enemies are speccing heavily into their guns, opt for Bullet Resilience.
Mag Capacity II
W+M1 to victory
Choose between Mag Capacity II and Rate-of-Fire II. If you're new to Deadlock or Vyper, I recommend Mag Capacity II for its mag capacity and bullet resist increases. Rate-of-Fire II provides an incredible Rate-of-Fire boost at the cost of self damage. Feel free to mix and match!

In case Vyper wasn't vaporizing enemies fast enough, let's throw the kitchen sink at em too. Stupidly good and a must get, become better and better with more ROF increasing items.
While I would recommend, the 10% health decrease matters with a hero as squishy as Vyper. Great if you're slaying out and want to snowball harder. If you're new, skip to buy a cool Win More™ item.

If the match is stalling or you want to go bananas, these are your guys. I recommend selling Swift Striker/Titanic Magazine or a Mid Game Defense item
Insta-deletes minion waves and makes the final push infinitely more bearable. Very nice ROF increase.
If your enemies are running high sustain or their support is healing them excessively, you can run this to cripple their effectiveness.
With Vyper's high ROF, this becomes absolutely disgusting during the late game combined with Lucky Shot.
Lethal Venom™ 2: Electric Boogaloo. Treat it as a better Skill 2 that can be used simultaneously; recharges at the same rate, silences and can deal immense amounts of burst damage
Become Stun-Immune for 6 seconds, but cannot use while already stunned or asleep. Great to use if you anticipate an enemy ultimate or against troublesome heroes like Haze.
Important Notes - Skills
*1st* Cancelling reloads with Skill 1 is vital! Try draining a whole magazine then throwing a dagger to refill completely, you'll pump out damage even faster! *2nd* Remember to slither as much as possible, especially after a dash. You have infinite ammo while slithering, which lets us make the most of our low ammo capacity gun. *3rd* ALWAYS stick with a friendly, especially if they can stun like Dynamo, Haze, Warden, Wraith. Having as little as half a second of stun can make a massive difference if Vyper is unloading a bajillon bullets a second *4th* Treat Vyper as a Hit-and-Run hero. Vyper's is effectively a glass cannon, don't charge in headfirst. Hang back until you can guarantee heavy damage. Once you see the opportunity; jump in, attack, then use your excellent movement and stamina to slither away from danger. *5th* Do NOT get caught with your pants down all alone. Vyper has amazing 1v1 potential if she's the INITIATOR and it remains a 1v1. However, if she gets caught off guard in an disadvantagous position or if multiple enemies try to attack it's most likely a death sentence for her. If you're getting chunked by a surprise attack or attacked by multiple enemies, use your Ultimate and RUN AWAY to regroup! Don't risk your life unless you're GROSSLY overleveled!
