Sometimes I rush this item before QSR and lifesteal if I want to get active sooner
CC Options
Replaces silence wave if the enemy team doesn't require Silence to counter (abrams, shiv, infernus, dynamo, and mirage)
If I really need to counter a gun carry
You can sell silence for curse in the late game to shut down annoying heroes
RARE buy that can replace silence wave if im super far ahead. But, even then, i almost never buy this as its sooo much money.
Upgrade from Slowing hex that you can get to help your teammates wipe a team. Use w/ lash, dynamo, and seven if you already have hex
Option to replace kinetic dash if you want more CC
OP Upgrades
Best option - Works extremely well with healing tempo
Great damage upgrade, but don't get it if you have more flex slots open
Good upgrade versus anything that requires buff removal
Utility Options
One of the highest DPS Options w/ spirit lifesteal to make MM, Tesla, and Siphon heal us
Anti-CC Item (goated)
Super late luxury that makes us insanely hard to kill
Potential raw damage upgrade that's quite strong now
Anti-armor and Anti-plated armor
Get if you're getting lots of debuff items like toxic, inhib, and silencer
If ahead and you want to turbo farm people (do NOT get this if you're weak and behind)
Potential early game item, but it got nerfed
