Experimental damage-heavy hybrid build, designed with
objective push capability and ease of use firmly in mind.
Early Cult Sac and cooldown into SoP/Magnum allows
robust sustained damage and chase; hybrid damage and
Leech combine to keep your health up in skirmishes.
Return Fire/Assistant offers an interesting anti-gun tech.
Extra Regen is a temporary, and can be sold any time after Spirit Lifesteal.
Don't get too caught up in the downtime on the active buff; those souls aren't going away, and the passive buffs make a tangible difference for objectives/camps/mid.
Generally in order, as slots allow (skipping ahead otherwise). Select ONLY ONE antigun 1600 - Return Fire into Haze/Wraith/Infernus/etc, Suppressor otherwise. Spirit Burn is default, but if 2+ teammates have it, skip it.
At time of writing, bullets returned by Return Fire will make an active Spectral Assistant fire as well. This is very bad news for high fire rate enemies.
Fire rate slow is additive and capped at -50%, so this won't fully stack with Vexing Bolt, but -50% is still a big deal for anyone not heavily invested into fire rate.
If (and ONLY IF) there's nothing else to replace, this replaces Titanic Magazine.
If your Mercurial Magnum supply is running a little dry after this, pick up more statue buffs for percentile ammo.
Situational tools and late buys (fill 4th slot/replace Extra Regen from here). In obnoxiously long games, you can replace your antigun 1600 with one of these to do something with the souls. Annotated.
If an enemy CC (ie Lash ult, Wraith/Warden grabs) is giving you significant trouble, press F to disappoint.
The default pick if you're not sure what else to get. Baseline stats (including tier bonus) are nice, and the conditional is solid chase or disengage.
If defense is not relevant (ie you're either getting deathballed or barely hurt), this is an alternate to Frenzy with a strong emergency active.
Another excellent default selection; total debuff purge combined with the barrier and speed can bail you or a teammate out of very bad situations.
All-around strong defensive item. Particularly valuable in late stalemates where both sides are probing for a pick, making it easier to pick them and harder to pick you.
The fact this can't be resist shredded is a big deal for late defense. Good against Siphon Bullets or multiple gun maxxers.
1,000 health on tap is excellent, but it may not be the easiest thing to steal an ult at the appropriate time.
If you're good on damage but lacking in mobility, this is a solid tool to shore up that gap. Particularly of value for pulling back from risky pushes.
Extremely good when yoinking Lash, Bebop, Seven ults, and excellent mobility in general.
Mainly for stopping a Seven/Bebop you can't get an angle on. Not a common buy.
